BHAKTAPUR: Health condition of former Prime Minister and Coordinator of Naya Shakti Party, Baburam Bhattarai, is improving, said the Nagarik Community Hospital.

Bhatatrai underwent surgery for prostate gland at Gatthaghar-based Nagarik Community Hospital on August 4.

A team headed by Hospital's Medical Superintendent Dr Rakesh Barma had performed prostrate surgery on Bhattarai.

Meanwhile, the health condition of Bhattarai is improving, said Hospital Director Shreebhakta Lasichhawa.

He said that the leader Bhattarai would be discharged within a few days.
