Former PM Nepal's health improving

KATHMANDU: The health condition of CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is improving. He was hospitalised after he complained of discomfort while attending the Parliament meeting on Monday.

He is receiving treatment at the Bir Hospital’s Trauma Centre. His blood pressure had abruptly gone up, according to his aide Mohan Gautam.

A team of physicians comprising Dr Ganesh Gurung and Dr Bhupendra Basnet among others are involved in his treatment.

Meanwhile, party deputy general secretary Bishnu Poudel today reached the hospital and inquired about leader Nepal’s health condition.

According to Gautam, leader Nepal will soon return home as his condition was getting better.
