French Ambassador calls on DPM Nidhi

KATHMANDU: French Ambassador to Nepal Yves Carmona paid a courtesy call on Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The duo shared their views on the bilateral relations and cooperation between both the nations at a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The French Ambassador had expressed his concerns about Nepal's peace process and the promulgation of the Constitution with Nidhi, informed a press statement issued by DPM's Secretariat.

Meanwhile, Nidhi said the investment climate in Nepal had improved here after the promulgation of the Constitution and urged the envoy to make favourable environment for French companies to invest in Nepal.

In response, Carmona said some French companies were interested to invest in Nepal.
