PARSA: Minister for Urban Development Prabhu Saha visited Parsa today to take stock of the progress regarding the implementation of district-based projects.

On the occasion, he also made field inspection to the Environmental Improvement Project operated in the Birgunj Metropolitan City and the Integrated Security Check Post (under construction) based in Alaun of Birgunj itself.

Talking to media persons following the inspection, he said a lack of coordination among the authorities concerned and dishonesty of contractors had caused a delay in the implementation of development projects.

He took the time to warn of action against those responsible for delayed projects.

Minister Saha said that he had directed the ICP contractors to speed up the construction and made sure its completion by November this year.
