Govt committed to increasing investment in technical education: State Minister Adhikari

KATHMANDU: Minister for State for Education Sheshnath Adhikari on Monday expressed his commitment that the government would spur investment in the area of technical education.

At a programme organised by Sanchar Kendra Nepal on 'Technical education today's need' in the Capital yesterday, State Minister Adhikari stressed the need for the state to augment investment in technical and vocational education so as to reduce unemployment rate in the country.

Member-secretary at Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Pushpa Raman Wagle also underlined the need of huge public investment keeping in mind the widening scope and market iin the technical field.

Also speaking on the occasion were Nepal Student Union President Nain Singh Mahar ANNISU (R) Chairperson Ranjeet Tamang and ANNFSU Secretary Samik Badal, among others.
