5.5 kg hashish being sent to New Delhi through courier service seized at TIA

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police seized a consignment of 5.544 kilogram hashish being sent to New Delhi through courier service from the Tribhuvan International Airport, according to Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

The contraband was hidden in 56 diaries and discovered during security check, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mitrabandu Sharma.

The consignment was supposed to board a Jet Air flight to the Indian capital.

Two employees of ICC Courier have been detained for interrogation after the discovery of hashish, according to police.
