Impeachment motion serves foreign interest, claims Bijukchhe

BHAKTAPUR: Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe has claimed that the impeachment motion was moved against the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority chief Lok Man Singh Karki being directed by India.

Addressing an annual general meeting of truck entrepreneurs here today, leader Bijukchhe claimed that the motion was brought to the House, acting upon a gesture of India.

He said that it was the trick to involve the UML in the Constitution amendment process in line with the Indian interests by bringing the major three parties on the same board.

He further opined that the major parties were also responsible for recommending Karki's name to the post; therefore, an action should be taken against them as well.
