KATHMANDU: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa on Monday called on immediate past Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The envoy had reached the UML Central Office in Dhumbarahi of the Capital to meet Oli and discuss contemporary political issues, according to Oli's Secretariat.

The duo had also discussed bilateral ties between the two nations.

Just on Sunday, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae had called on Oli.

Oli had received British and Chinese ambassadors to his private residence in Balkot on Friday.
