KATHMANDU: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sarbendra Khanal has been entrusted with the responsibility of Chief of Metropolitan City Traffic Police Division.

Earlier, Khanal was discharging the role of Spokesperson at Nepal Police being stationed at IGP Secretary. Khanal informed that he took charge of the traffic division from today onward.

DIG Mingmar Lama, who was in the traffic division, has been transferred to the Central Traffic Police Directorate.

Nepal Police Headquarters has transferred Khanal to the traffic division as per the instruction of Home Minster.

Likewise, SSP Pushkar Karki has been designated the responsibility of Spokesperson of the Nepal Police.
