Major parties discuss next steps for statute, resolving current crisis

KATHMANDU: Top leaders of major political parties discussed next steps for constitution drafting and solving current political stalemate, on Sunday.

According to PM's press coordinator Prakash Adhikari, the meeting among top leaders of Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, UCPN-Maoist and Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic is discussing present political situations.

The meeting is underway and yet to take any decision, according to Adhikari.

The parties are struggling hard to convince agitating parties and groups, protesting the proposed delineation of state boundaries in the new constitution, and conclude the constitution writing process at the earliest.
