KATHMANDU: A person was reportedly found dead in his rented room in Chandol of KMC-4 on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Himal Gurung (29) of Chitwan district.

According to police, Gurung had fallen unconscious in his sleep in his room.  Subsequently, he was rushed to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital but breathed his last on the way, informed police.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the case is underway, said police.
