KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday transferred 31 joint secretaries and 29 under secretaries to various districts, divisions of the MoHA, Department of Immigration and Department of Prison Management.

Of them, 35 were transferred to the districts as CDOs, acting CDOs and assistant CDOs.

According to the ministry, it was necessary to reshuffle the responsibilities of joint secretaries and under secretaries as their transfer was long delayed due to the recently held elections. — HNS
