KATHMANDU: A session of the National Assembly, the Upper House of the Federal Parliament, has started from today.

The National Assembly members have been putting forth their views taking special time after the commencement of the meeting.

At the outset, Suman Raj Pyakurel demanded investigation into the armed attack on Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.

Likewise, Prakash Panta and Kali Bahadur Malla spoke on contemporary issues.

The meeting is scheduled to discuss the report of the National Assembly Regulations Drafting Committee, 2075 BS.
