Nepal Bhasa Sahitya conference under way

Kathmandu, October 21

The 38th Nepal Bhasa Sahitya conference began here today.

Speaking at the inauguration of the conference, Chairman of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe said each and every individual should protect their culture and tradition. “New generation must be taught about their native language and literature to make them love their country and culture,” he added.

During the conference, various cultural programmes will be held in Nepal Bhasa (Newari)  Nepali, Maithili, Tamang and other languages. In the first session of the conference, various literary competitions such as story, poem and essay writing will be held. In the second session, cultural dances and songs will be performed. The conference will concluded tomorrow.
