Nepal to sign fuel trade agreement with China, says Pandey

 

KATHMANDU: Minister for Industry Som Prasad Pandey said that Nepal would sign various agreements including that for fuel trade with China during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to the northern neighbour.

He was speaking at an interaction organised by the Reporters' Club in the Capital on Wednesday.

As the northern neighbour had already promised to help Nepal on extracting petroleum products, Pandey said that an agreement would be signed on the issue.

He further said that a trade and transit treaty would also be signed during PM's visit.

Besides that agreements on construction of an international airport in Pokhara and Hisla Bridge would also be signed with China, the Minister added.

Pandey further said that agendas of the Prime Minister's visit to China would be finalised after holding a meeting on Friday.
