Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba inaugurated the two-day event amid a function in Kathmandu today.

Major parties have expedited discussions on the issue as the Local Body Restructuring Commission is approaching its deadline.

Recently, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has also announced to hold an all-party meeting to forge political consensus over the issue.

Earlier last week, the largest party in the Parliament had called its district presidents to the Capital for the discussion beginning today.
