NHRC launches post-quake human rights monitoring report

KATHMANDU: The National Human Rights Commission on Sunday launched a report prepared after monitoring the human rights situations in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake last year.

Marking anniversary of the magnitude-7.6 earthquake, the NHRC Chairman Anup Raj Sharma made the report public amid a special function today.

The report includes history of earthquake in Nepal, details of the loss caused by the 2015 earthquake, problems of relief and reconstruction efforts from the human rights perspective and recommendations for further actions.
