PM consults experts to prepare for India visit

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Wednesday consulted foreign affairs experts, industrialists and businesspersons as a part of preparation for his upcoming India visit.

The invitees expressed in the meeting that the Prime Minister's visit would be successful in building trust between the two neighbours and create an environment to implement past agreements, according to a statement issued by the PM's Secretariat after the meeting.

Likewise, they suggested the Prime Minister to put on his agenda expansion of the inter-country electricity transmission line, solution to trade and transit issues between the nations and attracting investment in energy, agriculture and tourism sectors in Nepal, among others.

Interactions of @PM_Nepal with foreign affairs experts & diplomats on India visit was good & useful! But Nepal still needs serious homework!
