PM-duo Oli, Modi jointly inaugurate Pashupati Dharmashala

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi jointly inaugurated Nepal Bharat Maitri Pashupati Dharmashala in Pashupati, Kathmandu before the latter embarked on a return trip to India, today.

"The Dharmashala will serve Nepal as an infrastructure that helps in increasing tourism and economic activity in the region," the Indian Prime Minister said.

"It will not only serve as a building but will also stand as a monument reflecting Nepal-India friendship," PM Modi added.

Likewise, the Indian PM who was in Nepal for the fourth BIMSTEC Summit also thanked PM Oli for successfully organising the summit and passed on his best wishes.

Expressing gratitude, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said, "It would not have been possible to organise this grand summit in such a short span of time without support from PM Modi. I express my deepest gratitude to him."

Prior to the inauguration ceremony, the PM duo held bilateral talks and signed a Memorandum of Understanding to survey the Raxaul-Kathmandu Railway Project.
