PM commits to resolving problems faced by Dalit communities

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday has stated that he is committed to resolve the issues that the Dalit communities in Nepal have faced.

PM Dahal said so while meeting a delegation from the National Dalit Liberation Front at his official residence in Baluwatar today.

Saying granting the Dalit Commission the status of a constitutional body was a great achievement, PM Dahal assured that he would work for the promotion and protection of the Dalit communities.

After receiving a memorandum on the alleged murders of Laxmi Pariyar and Ajit Mijar, Prime Minister Dahal assured that the culprits behind their deaths would be booked soon. He said the bereaved families would be provided with relief package also.
