PM to talk with opposition, protesting parties on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called a meeting of ruling parties, main opposition Nepali Congress and agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front for Tuesday.

According to PM's press advisor Pramod Dahal, the Prime Minister wants to talk with all sides regarding solutions to the political problems the nation is currently facing.

The meeting shall take place at 10:30 am at the PM's Office in Singha Darbar, he added.

Dahal told THT Online that the main opposition, Nepali Congress, and major constituents of the UDMF were already informed about the meeting formally.

"They were also consulted while fixing the meeting," he said.

Of late, the protesting UDMF was demanding talks at the level of top leaders while denying to sit for talks with the government talks team led by Deputy Prime Minister Kamal Thapa.
