PM's address for just popularity, comments UML

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-chairman and former Deputy Prime Minister Bhim Rawal has stated that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's address in the Parliament today was just remarks made for popularity.

Prime Minister Dahal had addressed the House on matters of public importance.

Leader Rawal, while leaving the House after listening to the Prime Minister, said the promises made by the PM were only for cheap popularity as these were not a part of the annual budget.

He questioned how the PM could manage the fund for the same if they were not mentioned in the budget.

The UML Vice-chair also ruled out the relevance of Constitution amendment, while questioning the rationale behind it.
