Pushpa Kamal Dahal cancels Australia trip

KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has cancelled his Australia visit in the eleventh hour due to his busy schedule.

Dahal was scheduled to leave for Australia today itself.

Chairman Dahal was scheduled to inaugurate a convention of the People's Progressive Forum, Australia.

But he cancelled his trip as he would be busy in the party's activities and national issues.

According to the Dahal's Secretariat, Chairman Dahal cancelled his Australia visit as the annual budget announcement presented in the House was awaiting endorsement.

However, members of Foreign Department of CPN Maoist Centre would attend the convention of the People's Progressive Forum.

Meanwhile, Chairman Dahal held separate meetings with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN-UML Chairman, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to discuss contemporary issues.
