RPP CC meeting begins today

KATHMANDU: The central committee meeting of Rashtriya Prajatantra Party has begun today in Kathmandu to review the results of the Federal Parliament and Provincial Assembly elections.

Party chair Kamal Thapa has said in a tweet that the meeting is being conducted to analyse the factors responsible for the disappointing results faced by the party in the recently held elections.

The central committee meeting will also discuss current political scenario and work on the party's future course of action, said Thapa.

RPP, through the second Constituent Assembly elections held in 2013, had become the fourth largest party in the CA. However, it failed to produce similar results in the local elections held earlier this year as well as the recently held Parliamentary and Provincial elections.
