Ruling, oppositions leaders discuss Nepali Congress demands

KATHMANDU: Seniors leaders of the ruling parties and the main opposition Nepali Congress are currently holding a meeting at the Legislature-Parliament building in the Capital to address the demands raised by the latter.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and main opposition party leader and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba among others are taking part in the meeting.

The talks are being held in wake of the NC's continuous obstruction at the Parliament meeting, demanding that the government give the quake survivors Rs. 200,000 in a lump sum and a loan between Rs. 1.5 million to Rs. 2.5 million at the interest rate of two per cent.
