KATHMANDU: A full meeting of the Supreme Court has decided to carry out hearings on habeas corpus cases during the Dashain vacation as well.

The Court, however, would not carry out any other function from Ghatasthapana (October 1) to Kojagrat Purnima (October 15).

The meeting presided over by Chief Justice Sushila Karki decided to carry out the hearing on other holidays except Ghatasthapana, Phulpati, Bijaya Dashami and Kojagrat Purnima.

Bishworaj Paudel, Joint-Spokesperson of the SC, said that judges Deepak Raj Joshi, Prakash Man Singh Raut, Hari Krishna Karki, Sharada Prasad Ghimire and Dip Kumar Karki have been assigned for the same.
