KATHMANDU: Ten more individuals diagnosed with coronavirus infection have succumbed to the disease, the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed at its regular media briefing on Sunday.

Of the deceased, one is a woman while the rest nine are men.

Details of the deceased individuals

• 20-year-old male, Bara
• 42 & 77 year-old males, Lalitpur
• 61 & 62-year-old males, Kathmandu
• 50-year-old female, Kathmandu
• 34-year-old male, Accham
• 66 & 50-year-old males, Bardiya
• 72-year-old male, Rupendehi

Nepal has more than 73,000 confirmed cases while global cases have exceeded 33 million whereas the global death-toll is very close to 1 million mark.

On Saturday, eight Covid-19 fatalities were recorded which took the death tally to 467.

With the recent addition of fatalities, Nepal’s Covid-19 death-toll has now advanced to 477.
