KATHMANDU: A Thai national was arrested in possession of 752 gram gold-like matel from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday.

Arundra Kumar Awale (58) of Indian origin, carrying the Thai passport AA 6351386, was arrested while he was about to board a flight to New Delhi.

While police checked his handbag, they found four bracelets hidden in it.

Further investigation is underway.
