KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 150,000 was stolen from a rented room in Imadol of Mahalaxmi Municipality-15 on Tuesday.

According to a complaint lodged with police, unidentified thieves stole Rs 50,000 in cash and various gold ornaments among other  goods from the room of Aulad Singh Lama.

The room was unattended when the incident occurred, police said.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
