KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 106,000 was stolen from a house in Gokarneshwor-16 of Kathmandu district on Sunday.

The thieves had broken into the house belonging to Dilli Bahadur Khatri (45) and had stolen Rs 50,000 cash along with one tola gold jewellery while it was attended.

Similarly, a man was robbed of his Rs 125,000 cash while he was purchasing a mobile phone in Kalanki of Kathmandu, on Sunday.

Indra Subedi (37) of Udaypur had his money robbed while he was at the Kalanki-based Jalpa Electronic Mobile Shop yesterday.

Police said they are investigating into both the cases.
