KATHMANDU: Two incidents of thefts have been recorded in different parts of Kathmandu Valley on Tuesday.

The house of Pramila Shrestha in Dhapakhel, LSMC-23 was burgled.

Valuables, cash, a laptop and a diamond ring belonging to Shrestha and property worth Rs 227,000 including cash and gold ornaments belonging to her tenant Ram Sharan Bogati were stolen, police said.

Likewise, property worth more than 150,00 including with cash and gold jewelleries were stolen from the house of Parbati Mahat Bhandari in Golphutar, Budanilakantha Municipality-8 was also stolen.

Both of the houses were unattended during the crimes, police added.

Police said the suspects are at large.

Further investigation is underway.
