Weather improves across country

Kathmandu, February 27

Weather affected due to the influence of westerly low pressure wind for the past few days has improved from today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Meteorologist Manju Basi said weather will remain fair as westerly low pressure system was no more active in the country from last evening. “There is no possibility of rainfall across the nation today and tomorrow,” added Basi.

Although weather of Kathmandu valley was cloudy this morning, it had cleared later during the day.

The skies of the central and western part would remain partly to generally cloudy during night while other parts would be clear.

The FMD forecast that weather across the country will be clear tomorrow and hilly areas of the country will remain partly to general cloudy in the afternoon.

Meteorologist Basi said there was possibility of rainfall along with thunderstorm in some parts of the western hilly areas while weather of central and eastern hilly areas will remain partly to generally cloudy on Saturday.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu valley was recorded at 8.8 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature was 14.1 degree Celsius.
