Cloud cover to clear partially today

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the weather will be partly cleared from tomorrow afternoon.

The MFD has said that tomorrow will be generally cloudy in the eastern and central hilly regions and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.

Light rain is likely to occur at a few places of the central region and at some places of the eastern region. It has forecast there are chances of light snowfall at a few places of the eastern high mountainous region.

According to MFD, the weather as disturbed due to westerly wind since Saturday and as its effect has weakened, the weather will partly clear up from Tuesday afternoon in the western and central regions. By Wednesday, the weather will be completely cleared.

MFD recorded Maximum temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 2.6 degrees Celsius in Kathmandu.

There was no rain recorded in Kathmandu on Monday. But Jiri received 5.1 mm, Okhaldhunga 3.8, Lumle 1.7mm and Dipayal received 0.6mm rain today.
