KATHMANDU: The Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Democratic, which has 14 lawmakers in the Parliament, is supporting KP Sharma Oli in PM election.

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and his proposer UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal signed an eight-point agreement with the MJF-D Chairman Bijay Kumar Gachhadar on Sunday.

UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal told media that the parties have agreed to address concerns of agitating Madhesi parties after the government in formed under the leadership of Oli.

The parties, however, have not signed any deal regarding power sharing in the new government, according to Rawal.
