KATHMANDU: A woman was injured in a shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park at Tokha on Wednesday afternoon.

The injured has been identified as Durga Dulal, a local. She received two bullets and has now been receiving treatment at the Tokha-based Grande International Hospital.

A joint team of Metropolitan Police Crime Division and Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu has been deployed to the incident site to establish the fact.

SP Ram Dutta Joshi said that further details about the incident would be disclosed later.
