KATHMANDU: Keshari Chaudhary of Nepal Police Club (NPC) broke the women’s triple jump national record during the qualifying tournament here at the Dasharath Stadium today.
Keshari, who had shattered the long jump record on Wednesday, leaped 11.67 metres to break her own previous mark of 11.30 set during the fifth National Games in April 2009. Dil Maya Karki (10m) of Nepal APF Club finished second.

KATHMANDU: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) today rescheduled the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘A’ Division League.
A meeting of ANFA officials and representatives of the ‘A’ Division clubs came up with the decision due to the Nepal's international commitment.
Nepal is hosting the Asian Zonal 2014 World Cup Qualifying match against Timor-Leste on June 29. Since the league coincided with the Qualifiers, it was decided that Dasharath Stadium will host no games from June 15 to 24.

LALITPUR: Koilapani Polestar Club, the first ever ‘A’ Division outfit from outside the Kathmandu Valley, are considering pulling out of the Martyrs Memorial Red Bull ‘A’ Division League due to budget crunch.
