BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress central member and lawmaker Dr Shekhar Koirala today underscored the need for NC and the Maoists to work in coordination to draft the constitution within the extended deadline.

DAILEKH: One person died and 21 were injured, three critically, when a bus bound for Surkhet from Dailekh veered off the road in Siddakuwa on Friday. Police identified the dead as Rekha Acharya (24) of Narayan municipality-6 and the critically injured as Jamuna Thapa (40) of Naumule-1, Man Singh BK (52) of Salleri-3 and Dharmaraj Acharya of Narayan municipality-6. KATHMANDU: Constituent Assembly Chairperson Subas Chandra Nembang today said work is on to amend the CA rules and authorise the Constitutional Committee to sort out the differences on the remaining 80 issues related to the new constitution.
