BIRGUNJ: Two persons including an Indian National have been arrested for their alleged involvement in making fake driving licenses in Birgunj on Friday.

Parsa District Police Office identified the suspects as Umesh Chaudary of Birgunj Metropolitan City-14 and Deepak Thakur of Bihar State in India.

Police also seized 6 pieces of hologram stickers, 2 set of mobile phones, passport size photos of various persons, 5 receipts of Revenue Department, citizenship certificates among others and a pulsar bike from their possession.

It has been learned that Deepak Thakur had spent one year jail time on charge of forging government seals and signatures few years ago.

Meanwhile, police said the duo have been kept at the DPO for further investigation.
