JAJARKOT: Two persons were killed on the spot and dozen others were injured when a passenger bus fell off the road in Surkhet this morning.

Of the two, one deceased has identified as Shiva Lala Dangi, a permanenet resident of Bhur Palseni in the district. The identification of another deceased is yet to be known, said police.

The bus (Ma 1 Kha 722) heading towards Nepalgunj from Rimna of Jajarkot plunged into Bali River in Surkhet this morning, added police.

All injured have been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment, said DSP Bhavesh Rimal at Jajarkot District Police Office.

Police are yet to know the cause of the incident.
