DANG: Police in Dang arrested 21 leaders and cadres of Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav)-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) from Rajpur Rural Municipality-4, on Wednesday night.

Rapti's bureau incharge for Biplav-led CPN party Kesh Bahadur Batha, aka "Subhas", Dang district incharge Sabin Pokhrel, the party's central member, Chandra Bahadur Chand, aka "Birjung" are among the cadres arrested, according to Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Binod Bikram Shah at Dang District Police Office. Arrestee Chand is said to be an elder brother of Netra Bikram Chand, the leader of the CPN party.

The CPN cadres were arrested while they were holding a bureau meeting at 1:00 am today, police informed.
