POKHARA: Naya Shakti Party Coordinator Dr Baburam Bhattarai said that the act of forming and toppling the government was not in the interest of people and country.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Nepal Press Society Kaski chapter in Pokhara on Sunday, the former Prime Minister accused the conservative parties of indulging in the power game, instead of guiding the nation towards economic prosperity and development.

He said that the problem is also a result of the shortcomings in the forms of governance and the electoral system.

Leader Bhattarai also suggested that the next government should hold elections by addressing the demands of Madhesis and Janajatis.
