KATHMANDU: Nepal Police suspended three security personnel in connection with gold smuggling from Tibet to Nepal via Rasuwa.

Police had seized seven kilogram of yellow metal and detained one person from a private vehicle at Timure of Rasuwa, bordering Tibet, yesterday.

A Sub-Inspector and constables have been suspended for their allegedly helping the gold smuggler, the Rastriya Samachar Samiti reported, quoting Police Inspector Dhruva Silwal at District Police Office.
