BIRGUNJ: Police on Friday arrested three persons while they were smuggling pharmaceutical drugs from Raxaul of India to Nepal.

Police said that they have confiscated 220 pieces of Diazepam and 265 pieces of Phenargone.

Police said that they nabbed the trio near the Customs Office at Sirsiya at around 9:30 pm yesterday.

The identities of those arrested have not been disclosed yet as an investigation into the case is underway.
