41 injured in Dhading bus-truck collision

MALEKHU: As many as 41 people were injured when the bus they were travelling on collided with a truck at Jogimara in Dhading district this morning.

The passenger bus (Na 4 Kha 4420) heading to Kathmandu from Tikapur, Chitwan collided-head on with a truck (Na 4 Kha 1674) injuring 41 passengers, according to Inspector Sanjaya Timilsina at the Gajuri-based Area Police Office.

Of the injured, six are said to be in critical condition and they were referred to Kathmandu while others are undergoing treatment at the local Highway Community Hospital and the Gajuri-based Primary Health Centre.

It is yet to ascertain the cause of the accident, said police.
