51 stranded Nepali migrants in Malaysia rescued

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Embassy in Malaysia has rescued 51 Nepali migrant workers stranded in Malaysia.

A team from the Nepali Embassy in Kuala Lumpur on May 9 visited the Nepalis, who were taking shelter at a returnee shelter home.

The migrant workers from different districts including Sindhuli, Sunsari, Baglung, Panchthar and Rautahat were stranded there after they failed to manage air ticket to return home.

They were rescued after the Embassy bore all the expense of the air ticket and sent them back home.
