KATHMANDU: An Agricultural National Quiz Competition-2072 was organised by Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science of the Technical Students’ Association Nepal (TSAN) at the Paklihawa Agriculture Campus in Rupandehi district on Wednesday.

A total of 10 groups of students from agriculture and animal science institutions participated in the quiz competition, a first of its kind in Nepal.

Rampur Maize Group from the Agriculture and Forestry University stood first in the competition followed by Rampur Litchi Group from the Agriculture and Forestry University and Paklihawa Virus Group from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science in the second and the third positions respectively.

The programme was organised under the leadership of Amba Dutta Bista, Chairman of the TSAN Paklihawa Campus with an eye to promote such programmes in the future and aid developments in the agricultural field.
