Air tickets booked till mid-November

There has reportedly been an increase in number of air passengers heading for Kathmandu and Biratnagar from Bhojpur Airport after Dashain tika.

With the Dashain festivities almost over, passengers were seen crowding the Bhojpur-based ticketing booth of Nepal Airlines Corporation for tickets. Bhojpur station manager Narayan Puri of NAC said flights to Kathmandu and Biratnagar were fully booked till November 12.

NAC has reserved two tickets for District Administration Office, one for Nepali Army, one for Nepal Police and two for patients of district hospital in each flight. Puri said that the office would reserve the right to offer the reserved tickets of DAO, NA, NP and the passengers of DH to those who are on the waiting list should any of the seats fall vacant. The NAC has been flying four times a week to Kathmandu, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and three times to Biratnagar, on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from Bhojpur Airport.

Similarly, Tara airline, a private airlines which had previously suspended its flight for four months, has now resumed its service from September 29; flying once a week on Thursdays onĀ  the Kathmandu-Bhojpur route.
