KATHMANDU: The All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), the student wing of CPN-UML, has demonstrated against the recently registered Constitution amendment bill which has the provision of changing the province borders among others.

It has urged the government to withdraw the bill saying that it is against the national sovereignty and public interest.

The union has protested and called the transport strike in front of almost all government campuses across the country, said ANNFSU secretary RC Lamichhane.

It has been learned that the different political parties, organisations and public have carried on the agitation programmes against the amendment bill, particularly in Province No. 5 for last few days.

The proposal has the provision of changing the borders of Province No 5.
