BAGLUNG: Paragliding flights have been successfully tested at Panchakot, a tourist destination, of Baglung Municipality-6.

Pilot Krishna Bahadur Sunuwar landed at the playground of Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus during a test flight. Paragliding operations for the Baglung Fair is scheduled to start from December 27 to January 5 at the playground of the campus, said Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

"We may determine Upallachaur and Bus Park area as a runway," he added. Panchkot is technically fit to operate paragliding flights in an environment like Panchakot, said pilot Sunuwar.

Fair aims to promote tourism through paragliding and Visit Nepal Year, 2020, said the Fair organizers who are busy preparing for it are in full swing.
