BARA: A man was found dead in a field at Kalaiya Municipality-1 in Bara district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar (26), of Kalaiya-6, said police.

A local informed police about the incident after he saw the body when he had gone to pee this morning.

Police said that the deceased might have been strangled to death after he was thrashed severely.

Investigation into the incident is underway, police informed.
